Software Engineer, Distribution & Syndication

Brightcove manages and distributes over a hundred million videos and adds hundreds of thousands to that catalog every day. That’s no surprise given the explosive growth of online video but getting those videos to all the places audiences want to view them presents a huge challenge. We’re looking for a developer to help us grow our new distribution and syndication platform. This platform is used by flagship Brightcove customers in the news, media, and digital marketing sectors to distribute video content to popular social platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

You’ll be on a team responsible for designing, developing, and operating a fault-tolerant, low-latency system that distributes thousands of videos each day. The platform helps Brightcove customers to achieve some of the fastest distribution times in the industry, ensuring rapid publishing of their time-sensitive video content. We’re look for people we can learn from; people who are creative, passionate, and curious; and people who know how to get things done.
